Payment, Pricing & Promotions

Accepted Payment Methods: PayPal and credit cards through Paypal. Please note that some items may have more stringent payment methods. Please check item description for specific details.

Unconfirmed and unverified payments from PayPal will be refunded and transaction voided unless buyer provides confirmation of identity.

Promotion codes and coupons may not be combined within a purchase. Each promotion code or coupon must be used in separate transactions.

Shipping & Delivery

Shipments will be made using traceable means. We ship items every business day. Shipment will occur as soon as possible, usually within 1 to 2 business days after payment is received and processed. Tracking code will be provided to buyer by email.

Privacy & Security

ChinonShop.com is committed to protecting your privacy. We pledge to keep all of your personal information confidential. It will never be shared without your written consent. We will not sell, trade, rent or disclose any information that identifies you to a third party.

Our privacy policy is easy to understand and is clearly displayed during the checkout process thus enabling the customer to review it prior to providing any personally identifiable information.

Information Practices and Security: ChinonShop.com has adopted information practices that treat customers’ personal information with care. We have posted and adhere to a privacy policy based on fair information principles, respect customers’ preferences regarding unsolicited email and take appropriate measures to provide adequate security.

Our privacy policy is open, transparent and meets generally accepted fair information principles including: (1) Providing notice as to what personal information we collect, use, and disclose; (2) What choices customers have with regard to our collection, use and, disclosure of that information; (3) What access customers have to the information; (3) What security measures we take to protect the information, and (4) What enforcement and redress mechanisms are in place to remedy any violations of the policy.

We respect our customer’s preferences regarding unsolicited e-mail. If we do accidentally send e-mail that is not solicited, we provide an easy means to allow our customers to remove their name from our e-mail database in order to prevent future unsolicited e-mails. We maintain this “Do Not Contact” policy in order to respect our customer’s wishes. This policy will be available both on our website and in any emails, other than those relating to a particular order.

Returns & Replacements

You may return new, unopened items sold and fulfilled by ChinonShop.com within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange. Items should be returned in their original packaging. Return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer.

To receive a refund or exchange of an item, the buyer must first contact ChinonShop.com to obtain a Return Authorization. Items must be shipped within 48 hours of receiving a Return Authorization.

For eligible non-defective items showing obvious signs of use, store credit or exchange may be issued if returned within 14 days of delivery (a 20% restocking fee will apply). In addition to the Return Policy outlined here, be sure to review Product Specific return policies outlined in the “Products Description” section of each product listed for sale. Some products may have more stringent return policies.

Please inspect products immediately upon receipt and notify us of any damage or shortage the same day of delivery. If for any reason you are not satisfied with a purchase beyond damage or shortage, you may return it for a refund or credit within 14 days as follows:

  1. Product must be in original condition.
  2. Product must be in original product packaging, uncut, unmodified and unused.
  3. Product must be returned within 14 days of delivery date through a "traceable means" (e.g. certified mail, UPS or FEDEX).
  4. All components and manuals must be returned.

A credit or refund will be issued for returned products, minus delivery charges. Items not in compliance with this return policy will be returned back to you at your expense.

Instructions for Packing & Sending Your Return:

You can pack and send your return to us in just a few simple steps.

  1. Contact us and obtain a Return Authorization. You may e-mail us at services@ChinonShop.com
  2. Pack the items along with the packing slip (receipt) and a copy of your Return Authorization securely in a box. If you do not have the packing slip, please contact us for further instructions.
  3. Affix the shipping label to the outside of the box using the address provided in the Return Authorization.
  4. Ship the item within 48 hours of receiving the Return Authorization.

Items That are Not Returnable:

ChinonShop.com does not accept returns of the following items:

  1. Any product missing the serial number or UPC.
  2. Gift certificates.
  3. Orders returned after 14 days of delivery.

Exchanges:

If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, please contact us to request a Return Authorization. All exchanges must be made within 14 days of the delivery date of the item. If you would like to exchange an eligible item for a different one, please return the original item (you will be refunded your original purchase price minus delivery charges once we receive the item) and place another order for the item you wish to purchase.

Store Credit:

For eligible non-defective items showing obvious signs of use, store credit or exchange may be issued if returned within 7 days of delivery (a 20% restocking fee will apply).

Product Warranty

The product is covered by a 1-year limited warranty from the date of purchase from Chinonshop.com. The warranty covers only defects in workmanship and materials. It does not apply to products which have been damaged due to unreasonable use or by intention nor does it cover dissatisfaction with the product. This warranty does not cover those products purchased from other individuals & resellers and is not transferable. 

Chinonshop.com's warranty policy only covers products purchased directly from Chinonshop.com. If you purchased the product from our website you will have been given a purchase number with your confirmation email. Please quote this number, along with your name and email address, in your dealings with us. 

If you purchased the product from an authorized reseller, please contact them for their warranty information. 

  1. Chinonshop.com warranty policy covers only defective products. All sales are final. Monetary refunds will not be issued for any reason.
  2. Chinonshop.com will only accept returns of defective product within 1 year of purchase, as stated in the warranty above.
  3. Defective products will be exchanged for new products within 60 days of purchase or will be repaired if after 60 days of purchase. There will be no monetary reimbursement whatsoever.
  4. Please report to services@chinonshop.com in order to ascertain the problem/defect and obtain the Return Authorization.
  5. Customer will pay for one-way shipping to Chinonshop.com. There is no need to use any express or overnight service. Chinonshop.com will pay the shipping costs for the exchange product. 

Chinonshop.com shall only be liable for: 

  1. the replacement of a defective product with a new product.

Chinonshop,com shall NOT be liable for:

  1. injury to persons, or damage to property or consequential losses arising from the use of the product.
  2. a product that has been tampered with, altered, or been serviced by an unauthorized agent.
  3. damage due to the use of accessories that were not included with the product.

Fees & Sales Tax

A sales tax in an amount required by law will be charged for items shipped to some states and countries.

This permission terminates automatically if you breach any of these terms or conditions or upon the request of ChinonShop.com. Upon termination you must immediately destroy any downloaded and printed materials. Any unauthorized use of any material contained on this site may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, and various other regulations and statutes.

Nothing on this site should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any Trademark displayed on this site without the written permission of the Trademark owner. ChinonShop.com enforces its intellectual property rights to the fullest extent of the law. ChinonShop.com prohibits use of the CHINON logo as a link to any site unless establishment of such a link is approved in advance by ChinonShop.com in writing.

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, entry error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, ChinonShop.com shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for said product(s). Although your credit card normally is not charged prior to shipping an order, if your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and the order is canceled ChinonShop.com will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Order Acceptance Policy

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. ChinonShop.com reserves the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline your order for any reason.

Online Policy for Children

ChinonShop.com is committed to the preservation of online privacy for all of its web site visitors, including children. Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, we will not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. ChinonShop.com sells products intended for purchase by adults. If you make a purchase on ChinonShop.com you are representing that you are an adult. If you are a child under the age of 13, you must ask your parent or guardian to assist you in using ChinonShop.com
